1. Visiting Muarajambi Temples Compound Site and learn Malay Jambi Culture
It is situated 26 kilometers east from the Jambi City at Muaro Jambi Regency. And also can be reach by local traditional boat about 1-2 hours. Its surviving temples and other archaeological remains are estimated to date from the fourth to thirteenth AD. Until now, this archaeological site includes 09 excavated temples and 82 ruins unexcavated, called as Menapo by local peoples, covered 3012 hectacres. It is one of the largest and best-preserved ancient temple complex in South East Asia. The Muarajambi Temples Compound Site were made of red brick, spread out along the banks of the Batanghari River. People of Muarajambi Village are malay ethnic with unique culture and traditions.
2. Trekking to Lake Gunung Tujuh
Lake Gunung Tujuh (in English : Seven Mountains) is a spectacular caldera lake of 960 hectares, located at an altitude of 1,950 metres and surrounded on all sides by the very steep slopes of Mt. Tujuh. This volcano has seven (tujuh) peaks, the highest of which is 2,732 metres. The lake measures about 4.5.kilometres long by 3 kilometres wide, and the greatest depth recorded is 40 metres. It is located near Kerinci Mountain, and all the surrounding hills and mountains are densely forested. It is accessible by a 1.5 (very fast) to three-hour (slow) walk along a small forest path leading straight up the mountain from the PHPA guardpost of Pesisir Bukit (alt. 1,400 metres), which in turn is a half-hour walk from Pelompek village. The track leads up to a point on the crater rim (alt. 2,010 metres), immediately south of the outlet river of the lake.

Bukit Duabelas (meaning The Twelve Hills) is representative of lowland tropical rainforests in Jambi Province, lying between 30 m and 430 m above sea level.
Anak Dalam (or Kubu) is the name of an isolated tribe whose members are still little touched by the influences of modernity. The Anak Dalam are mostly hunters, although they also grow edible tuberous plants. They also gather and trade products from the forest like honey, rattan and various kind of harsh. The Anak Dalam still lead a nomadic life and move to a new site whenever there is something wrong in their current place, or someone dies. It’s great experience to meet them for learning how they can survive in the forest.
5. Climb Kerinci Mountain
It is the highest active volcano in Indonesia (3,805 m asl.), located in Kerinci Regency, Jambi within the Kerinci Seblat National Park.
